Fighting climate change

At Fangaloka, we are aware of the importance of protecting our environment and combating climate change. We are strongly committed to the planet, which is reflected in every aspect of our business. We strive to be an example of sustainability and environmental responsibility, implementing green practices in everything we do.

We actively participate in Hospitality #ForClimate, a pioneering initiative of people, companies, organisations and public administrations that have come together with a common goal: to be at the fore in combating climate change under the guidelines set out in the Paris Agreement.

We take steps to minimise our carbon footprint, from using renewable energy to implementing efficient waste management systems.

Our gastronomic offering is based on local and seasonal products, supporting local agriculture and reducing the environmental impact associated with food transport. We are committed to KM0.

At Fangaloka, we believe that tourism and leisure can coexist harmoniously with the environment. We are firmly committed to working every day to be part of the solution, ensuring that future generations can enjoy our beautiful environment.

We have calculated our carbon footprint and offset it through the CeroCO2 platform in a voluntary carbon market deforestation project.

We are part of a waste management programme, a circular economy project developed together with other companies in the GETXO ITSAS HUB, in which Fangaloka develops useful and necessary products for the hotel and catering sector using the plastic waste it generates.
